Frits Bussemaker

Frits Bussemaker is partner at CIOnet, an European Community of almost 3000 CIOs. Furthermore, he is an independent Program Director and coach for organizations on Community Building and cooperation. He has worked in the IT industry since the 80s. Based on his principle to ‘organize value’ he has set up a number of communities including the BPM-Forum (www.bpm-forum.org), the first European chapter of the ASAP (www.strategic-alliances.org), the Business Rules Platform Nederland and iPoort.

As Program Director he was responsible for a number of conferences including the international WCIT2010 conference and the ‘Week van de Inspiratie” for the Dutch Tax Office.

He has published various articles and interviews in a number of magazines including BPMagazine, BPtrends.com and BankingReview. He has contributed to a number of books like ‘Extreme Competition’ by Peter Fingar; ‘Management by Process’ by John Jeston and Johan Nelis; ‘Microtrends’ and ‘Beyond the Crisis” by Adjiedj Bakas.
He is a regular speaker or chairman on topics including Business Process Management, Alliance Management and Community Building. He is honorary fellow at hogeschool Inholland, member of the editorial board of BPMagazine and IT Management Select, member of the board and advice of Master of Science program BPM&IT at the Open Universiteit Nederland, BPM-Forum Belgium, IPBPM Portugal, ITSMF en Hogeschool Utrecht. He has an MSc from Delft University.

Frits speaks about ICT and organisations and helps to build bridges between new media and outdated ICT companies. He frequently moderates and is aible to give interesting workshops.
