Marjolijn Kamphuis

Marjolijn Kamphuis (1981) is co-founder and CEO at Foodzy.com, a service that allows people to ‘check-in’ what they eat and create their own personal health dashboard in a fun and easy way. Foodzy is an Amsterdam based startup that is currently available in over 130 countries. Its apps are available for both iPhone, Android and web.

Marjolijn holds two Masters degrees in both Communication & Information Science and Design & Digital Media from Tilburg and Edinburgh University. She is a skilled user-interface designer and is responsible for Foodzy’s full product design, development and marketing.

Besides running Foodzy, Marjolijn is also the owner of OKGO, a creative online agency, and editor-in-chief at techblog Dutchcowgirls. She previously worked as an online producer for companies such as MTV, Nickelodeon, G-Star, Orange and Universal Music.

Marjolijn talks about her vision on the future of big data, social media, gamification and quantified self. She likes leaving the audience filled with inspiration and eager to get to work with it.
