During her History studies at the University of Amsterdam, Laura interned at the Rijksmuseum. She then worked as a communications officer at the Amsterdam Museum, Greenpeace, and Milieudefensie. Believing that imagination is essential for driving change, she founded the Klimaatmuseum in 2018.
Laura grew up in The Hague and spent a year in the United States as an exchange student during high school. Her father is a visual artist and graphic designer, while her mother worked in various social sectors, including healthcare, education, and social services. As a result, Laura was exposed to a wide range of creative and social influences from an early age. Before university, she was actively involved in theater, and she has been playing the piano since she was six.
Laura speaks about transitions, actionable perspective, and the power of imagination in change processes.
“A better climate starts with imagination.”
